We are currently offering Several internships to undergraduate

and graduate students of Italian or Social Work, who are interested

in a career in education or the non-profit field, as well as desiring

to practice, to improve and to perfect their italian!

We are offering the chance to intern with us to see what it is like behind the scenes of a fast growing non-profit organization: offering grant writing skills, education skills, study abroad organization and preparation, budgeting, marketing, and much more.

If you are interested or semi-interested in a career in the educational field, we can help guide you, by offering you observations of our classes, taught by professional teachers, as well as, lots of different educational techniques.  You would not be allowed to teach our classes, but you would be able to learn from us and you would be able to participate and to practice with what you learn through our educational events, by helping with the preparation, organization, and presentation to our members and the public.

These internships are unpaid, but they are an excellent opportunity for you to use your Italian or Social work / Non-Profit studies and to understand how you might be able to create a future for yourself in the Non-profit world or using Italian or other foreign languages in a career.

If you are applying for the Italian internship, we require at least 3 or 4 semesters of Italian prior to your application.

If your studies are in another field, such as Social work, or Non-profit work, we require you to be a minor or major in that field or have intention of continuing your career in that field of study.

For all applications, we require you to write a short essay explaining what you would like to gain from this internship and what your intentions are in the future in regards to your studies of Italian or Social Work, ect.

There is a large possibility that interns may be able to work (paid) for our summer camp program, using and improving your language skills, as well as, to learn more about Study Abroad organization and for 1 student, a possibility to attend the program in Italy.
